Closing the Women’s Health Gap: A Blueprint for Global Impact

The latest World Economic Forum report, in collaboration with the McKinsey Health Institute, highlights the urgent need to address inequities in women’s health. Women spend 25% more of their lives in poor health compared to men, and closing this gap could unlock $1 trillion in global economic growth by 2040.

Among the nine conditions driving over a third of this health gap, ischemic heart disease is the leading cause of death for women worldwide. Addressing it could save millions of lives and unlock $43 billion in annual GDP.

At Echopoint Medical Ltd, we are committed to tackling one of the major contributors to this gap: Ischemia with Non-Obstructive Coronary Arteries (INOCA). Our focus is on securing the US market release of our IKOR diagnostic system in 2026. This system, designed specifically for interventional cardiology, enables more accurate diagnosis of INOCA, ensuring women receive the care they need.
