The Engineering Development Scientist will uphold the operational efficiency of our laboratory and contribute to the advancement of groundbreaking medical technologies.

  1. Equipment Assembly: Assemble and dismantle complex medical equipment and devices, adhering to detailed schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
  2. Testing and Calibration: Perform functional tests and calibrations on medical devices and equipment to ensure adherence to specified performance and quality standards.
  3. Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues, collaborating with engineers to address technical challenges promptly.
  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment assembly, testing, and maintenance activities, documenting any modifications or alterations made to devices.
  5. Quality Control: Support quality control processes by inspecting and verifying the quality of components and finished products.
  6. Lab Maintenance: Uphold a clean and organized laboratory environment, ensuring all equipment and tools are in optimal working condition.
  7. Collaboration: Engage in collaborative efforts with engineers, scientists, and team members to bolster research and development projects and contribute to the evolution of innovative medical technologies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the medical device or hands-on engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Familiarity with Labview or comparable engineering development tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for troubleshooting equipment issues.
