Exciting Times at LSI USA 2025 – Advancing Heart Health in Women
Antony Odell had the privilege of presenting at LSI USA 2025, where he highlighted the critical need to improve heart health diagnostics and therapies for women, particularly in addressing Ischemia with Non-Obstructive Coronary Arteries (INOCA) — a condition that disproportionately affects women and remains underdiagnosed and undertreated.
At Echopoint Medical, we’re passionate about changing this narrative. Our proprietary IKOR diagnostic system is designed to provide user-friendly precise information into coronary microvascular dysfunction — a key driver of INOCA. By enhancing the accuracy of diagnosis, IKOR has the potential to open the door to more targeted and effective therapies.
We’re excited to share that we are targeting 510(k) clearance for IKOR in 2026 — with plans to follow this with a US clinical study to further validate its clinical performance and support expanded adoption. This is a significant step towards bringing better diagnostic tools to the market and improving outcomes for patients — especially for women, who have long faced disparities in cardiovascular care.
Thank you to everyone who attended the session and engaged in the important conversation about advancing heart health for women. The momentum is building, and we’re proud to be part of the solution.
